If you are anything like me you have loved Beetlejuice the movie for years, in fact I can’t think of one movie by Tim Burton that I didn’t like! I do like The Nightmare Before Christmas though, it has a real beauty and it’s weird how Tim Burton can take a gruesome theme and make it accessible to everyone, young and old. Now that’s what I call talent!
Coraline was a recent masterpiece, really fascinating and you can instantly see the similarity of the style of the design and production to the classic Beetlejuice film. It’s pretty dark but accessible without being too frightening. I love the music but I especially like the happy ending!
